GENERAL INFORMATION

Note on Pricing: As events are cooking classes, we do not add sales tax to the quoted prices. Also, we do not automatically include a gratuity. (If you'd like to leave a gratuity, either while purchasing your event or at a later date, click this link. Or, you can gift it to Chef Linda directly after your event. Either way: THANKS!)

Advance Registration: We require enrollment at least 48 hours before a class, so we have enough food for everyone!

Enrollment Confirmation: After you complete your purchase, we will email you an order confirmation with a link in the footer that gives directions, a special phone number if you need navigation help, and other information about the class. If you are a guest and need directions, you can find a link on the home page.

Information and Liability Release: Each class participant must complete an information and liability waiver form prior to class. For participants under age 18, the form for minor children should be completed by the participant's parent (if two or more children from the same family are attending the same event, the parent can utilize one form for up to four children).

What do I need to bring? We provide all the ingredients, tools, aprons and recipes during the class. Everyone should wear close-toed, comfortable shoes, as there will be a lot of standing, and tie back long hair. Please bring an unbreakable water bottle for kids. Infused water will be provided at all events, and you are welcome to bring a beverage* of your choice.

* People who are 21 and older may bring alcohol for their personal consumption during the meal. We cannot sell or distribute alcohol, and we uphold DABC regulations. No minor can drink, and we cannot have intoxicated students attending a class.

Meal/Snacks: We will serve an appetizer at the beginning of the event. After class, we will eat all the wonderful food we have made (in baking and preserving classes, you will take the prepared food home).

Allergies: We occasionally use nuts in recipes, and while we are careful about cross contamination, this is not a nut-free facility. We can accommodate gluten sensitivity, but the Kitchen is not a gluten-free facility. If you think you or a guest may be allergic to a menu item, please contact us, and we can double check the ingredients list.

Vegetarian Options: We offer vegetarian and vegan classes, as well as a vegetarian option for most of the other classes. In some classes, you will be around other students who will be preparing and eating meat.

Logistics: Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the start of class. There is ample on-site parking in the driveway. If you are dropping off children, please accompany them into the Kitchen before class begins and meet Chef Linda. If we have not already received the information and liability release form from you, we will ask you to read and sign one prior to class. 

After Class Pickup for Unaccompanied Kids: Classes are 3 hours in length. Kids can be picked up at the Kitchen entrance by you or someone you designate on the information form. We will require anyone picking up a child to show a picture ID. Sorry, we do not offer aftercare.

Refund Policy for Scheduled Events: You may request a refund up to 48 hours prior to your class. Contact information is in the footer. In the event of insufficient enrollment, we may cancel or reschedule a class. In that case, we will refund your payment in full.

Refund Policy for Private Events: If you cancel your event, but provide at least 2 weeks’ notice, you will receive a 90% refund. If you cancel at least 1 week before your event, you will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise, the payment is forfeit. Contact information is in the footer.

Changes in Enrollment for Private Events: If there is a change in the number of attendees, please give us 48 hours’ notice if possible. We may be able to add someone with less notice, but we won’t issue a refund with less notice. Contact information is in the footer.
