This menu is one of my favorites! My first exposure to Jambalaya was from my parents, adventurous cooks who frequently prepared Jambalaya for a party. Later I spent time in New Orleans with Slow Food tasting and learning about traditional dishes.
This will be night full of exciting flavors!
Appetizer: Angels on Horseback - Grilled Oysters with Bacon and Remoulade
Salad: Seasonal Greens with Dried Cherries, Blue Cheese, Toasted Walnuts and Sherry Vinaigrette
Entree: Jambalaya with Shrimp, Tasso Ham and Andouille Sausage
Dessert: Creole Bread Pudding - bread pudding with crispy edges and Bourbon butter sauce
