Events are held in the Mindful Cuisine Kitchen. A link to a map with directions can be found on the Home page.
Recipes will be provided and are yours to take home.
There will be a hands-on cooking experience, supervised by a trained instructor. The classes are designed to accommodate cooks of all skill levels.
Classes will include a snack. During class, you’ll either be preparing a meal to consume on-site or items to take home.
Events with full meals run 3 to 3-1/2 hours. Baking and other skills classes run from 1 to 4 hours; see event description.
Information and Liability Release
Each class participant (parents, for participants under age 18) must complete an information and liability waiver form prior to class. Click on a box below to open the appropriate form. Once you have completed the form, you will be able to send it directly to us.
What to Wear / Bring
There will be a lot of standing during class. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, minimal jewelry, and closed-toe shoes. Avoid flowing sleeves. Please wear long hair up or in a ponytail.
We provide all the ingredients, tools, aprons and recipes during the class. Please bring an unbreakable water bottle for kids.
People who are 21 and older may bring alcoholic beverages for consumption during the meal. Please drink responsibly. Alcohol cannot be given to people under age 21 under any circumstances.
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the start of class. There is ample on-site parking in the driveway. If you are dropping off children, please accompany them into the Kitchen before class begins and meet Chef Linda.
If you have not already submitted the information and liability release form, we will ask you to complete one prior to class.

After Class Pickup for Unaccompanied Kids: Kids can be picked up at the Kitchen entrance by you or someone you designate on the information form. We will require anyone picking up a child to show a picture ID. Sorry, we do not offer aftercare.
Allergies and Special Dietary Needs
Please be advised the Mindful Cuisine Kitchen utilizes dairy products, eggs, wheat and products with gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, meat, fish, shellfish, and other cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be identified in the menu item name. While we take care to maintain a clean kitchen and avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that the kitchen is free of traces of those items. You can let us know about any allergies or dietary needs by submitting the Information and Liability Release form in advance.
Some dishes can be modified to accommodate dietary requirements (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free), as indicated in the class/menu item description, either for the whole group or individuals within the group.
Cancellations / Changes in Enrollment
Scheduled (Public) Events: You may request a refund up to 48 hours prior to your class. Contact information is in the footer. In the event of insufficient enrollment, we may cancel or reschedule a class. In that case, we will refund your payment in full.
Private Events: If you cancel your event, but provide at least 2 weeks’ notice, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel at least 1 week before your event, you will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise, the payment is forfeit. If there is a change in the number of attendees, please give us 48 hours’ notice if possible. We may be able to add someone with less notice, but we won’t issue a refund with less notice. Contact information is in the footer.
