Private Events:
Fundamental Kitchen skills

Learn fundamental cooking and baking skills in a comfortable setting with a spectacular view! In these events, you’ll focus on a particular type of cooking or baking, under the guidance of Chef Linda or guest instructor. Cooks of all skill levels are welcome!

After you don your aprons and sample a chef-made snack, you will receive an overview of the class, ingredients, and preparation techniques. You may then divide into teams to work on different items or all work together, depending on the class and the size of the group. Throughout class, the instructor will draw your attention to key techniques or moments in preparation as they occur. You’ll be able to take the recipes from class with you to recreate at home.

The description will indicate the approximate length of the class and whether you’ll be preparing items to take home or a light meal to share.

Great for special occasions, vacation activities, and for book clubs and other groups! Classes are designed for 4 or more participants. Several classes can accommodate fewer than 4 participants; for those, the class rates will vary by group size and it may be necessary to modify the menu or procedures. Kids and teens may be enrolled in Private Events if they are accompanied by a paying parent, unless the class description indicates otherwise. The maximum group size is 8 for baking classes and 10 for other classes, unless otherwise specified.

Please book your event at least 10 days before your desired date. Check the calendar for the date (or dates, for a series) you have in mind. Typically, we do only one event per day. Not quite ready to finalize the specifics of your private event? Reserve a date. Detailed instructions for booking an event are below the class listing.
