In this class you will:
Make and take home your own hand made pizza dough that can rest in your refrigerator 24-48 hours until you are ready!
Make a basic pizza sauce and learn ways to make small changes to create regional variations.
Make some pizza! We will have prepared a variety of doughs proofed and ready for you to made shape in to pizza, add toppings and bake. You will have the opportunity to work with and taste pizzas made with different types doughs including sourdough. Compare to see what you like best. Experiment with cooking pizzas outdoors in an ooni pizza oven and learn some great indoors techniques - stone, baking steel and cast iron. Get some new ideas for toppings. Enjoy an Italian Chopped Salad along with your pizza and homemade gelato for dessert.
