Thanksgiving was 2 days ago. You want to get out and to eat, but you would like something different, something lighter and with different flavors. Learn to cook some light and delicious dishes with Asian flavors. At Mindful Cuisine, the ingredients are “ mise en placed” for you, and there are no dishes to do when you're done. Learn to prepare something new and enjoy the meal!

Shiu Mai Dumplings - open-faced steamed shrimp dumplings
Miso Shiitake and Greens Soup - a quick, easy-to-make vegetable soup with shiitake mushroom and lot of greens
Steamed Salmon with a fermented black bean sauce and scallions - I cooked this dish for my mother’s birthday when I was barely out of college. It is healthy, delicious and simple. I have been making it ever since.
Hot Garlic Eggplant - This dish is made with the long thin Chinese eggplant. It is a a bit spicy (can be modified on an individual basis if needed) and is a nice contrast to the fresh light flavors of the other dishes.
