The first time I had Raclette was traveling in Zermatt with a backpack before returning to finish my senior year in college. It was a magical evening when one of our group found a place where we could huddle around a fire to try the Raclette. Raclette later became our traditional Christmas Eve family meal.
Tonight we enjoy the simple boiled potatoes with melted Raclette cheese. However, we break with tradition to include a soup, salad, an array of vegetables, meats & seafood with condiments & pickles..
